Qiqong (Chi Kung) is generally practiced specifically for improving health or preventing illness or injury. The practice is based on combining breathing, meditation and movement principles to create harmony between mind, body and energy. Translated literally, “Chi Kung” means “Energy Skill”.  The movements are just as specific as those of Tai Chi, although they are generally simpler and therefor more repetitive. Think of each Chi Kung exercise as a mini Tai Chi form.
